Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as the host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature hairstyle and her pumped up personality, provides easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell also worked at the top New York eateries, learned about the Italian food and culture as well as was a contestant on Food Network's Iron Chef America. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. Her passion was for food and restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The student says "I enjoyed being a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I loved every minute of it." It was difficult to master and do enough or put in the hours. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) as she attended Umbria. She also attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Burrell gained a greater knowledge of Italian food and culture while in Italy and this has affected the way she cooks. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists kids who have challenges. as a speaker, guest and teacher Burrell travels throughout the US to talk about her passion for cooking as well as her profession. Anne has stated during her career in the kitchen she is incredibly fortunate to communicate with people what is most important for her.
