Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique way of rapping. Baker was born the 22nd of April, 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents, both missionaries, took him to several trips in his early days. The father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness as did his mother Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Then, Baker along with his father moved to Denver which was where they resided with his aunt, who was his father's. Baker was bullied because he lived in poverty among the kids. He began listening to rap when he was in sixth grade. Colson Baker, a.k.a as Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. The artist is famous for mixing modern and alternative hip-hop with rock music in his compositions. Prior to signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. After delivering lyrics quicker than a bullet train the Cleveland rapper saw a rapid climb to fame in the year. He went from releasing self-released cassettes, to being signed to labels. His career took off from there, with all of his records making the top 10 charts.
